It's been 12 years + since we talked last. I'm a map maker now at Vandenberg AFB. Big contrast between life in the CAV and the USAF. I work with several young USAF SSGs (E-5s) that enjoy hearing my stories about your remarkable military career and our experiences in the CAV. As I look back upon my life it brings me to tears, tears of joy as well as tears of sorrow. Remembering my time in the US Army, especially my time in Amberg, brings me to a bit of sadness because of all that I missed.
