Connecting the Troopers of Today with the Veterans of Yesterday.

When I was in Bindlach there was a shooting of a brother that was on guard duty with an E-5. I can not remember either of the names, but I have found out that the E-5 was the one playing like John Wayne, twirling his 45, and it feel shooting his partner in the head killing him. I saw it happen, but I had remembered it wrong. I have got  that corrected, buti I still need their names and an approximate time (yr, month) that it happened. I do thank anyone that can remember more than can as it will help with my claim. Y'all take care brothers

Was this the Gate guard that was shot in 1976 or 1977?
I remember there was a guard shot while the two were in the guard house one night, but do not remember the details except they were playing with a loaded 45. D. CO Jan75-Dec77

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
