Connecting the Troopers of Today with the Veterans of Yesterday.

If there is anyone that was at Amberg from 1972 - 1974 (especially M-Company) , send me a note. I would like to hear from you all.

Hey Robert, It's good to hear from you. I left in July of '74. You would have known a lot of my old friends. What did you do after you got to M-Co. I had been the Armorer and Supply clerk. Was Capt. Long still the CO? M-Co was on the Border when I left. Capt. Long gave me my re-enlistment talk flying around in a Helicopter. I can't remember the 1st Sgt's name. Sorry if I ramble.

I was in I Troop March '74 to March '75.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
