Sorry, I haven't been on for a while. After Germany I did two years at Ft. Hood 1/9 Cav. Then went to school at University of Missouri. I got in the reserves and was a NBC and NCOES instructor. Then went ahead and got in ROTC and got a comision. I was able to stay in until 1999. I had been branched Ordinance(ammo), and there were no slots in the state for a Capt.

I ran a gunshop here in Columbia, MO for 18 years, I spent the last 8 years with a Japanese tier 1 automotive manufacturer, Otscon. I was the buyer. I have been out of work since mid-December. I have been keeping my head down figuratively until we figure out about this Covid mess or it at least stabilizes.

Sounds like you did well with the family. Give me a call sometime.

I have not contacted anyone else yet. I spent time with Kelly Kilian and Judd Krull at Fort Hood, but haven't talked to them in decades. I did run into the FIST officer we had at Hoenfelds from How Battery in the  airport in Mineaplolis about 20 years ago. I have lost track of people that I was in the Reserves with from here in the same town! It is great to here from you.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
