Mick, I ran into Max Tritt at my grandkids soccer game in June and he told me about this site.  Checked it out and found quite a few people I served with in M Co back in 83-84 including you.  I worked in maintenance and went through recovery and tank turret maintenance training at Vilseck.  Spent the last six months there as Capt. Burchams driver through the M1 conversion.  I don't do face book but do have an email address (ramartin1957@yahoo.com).  I only can get on to this site once or twice a week as I don't have internet access at home.  I do however have an I Phone so I can get email anytime. I do have quite a few photos that I will get put onto the site sometime in the near future.  Just need to get them onto a disc so I can get them posted.   Look forward to hearing from you.  Rick (Sgt. Marty) Martin

I just wanted to let you know that I finally got all the platoon scores from CAT-79 and the pamphlet (English only) with the scores handwritten by a Brit. I can't post because the file is 12.1 Mb, but I can send.

John

Hope you and Joan and the family had a great Christmas and enjoy a great new year!!!!   I enjoyed chatting with you a while back and even though it has been 25 year I still consider you a very good friend. You can't replicate the bond we in Amberg formed in just a years.

Sure, I remember you.
Sometime back I saw some pictures of you on this site and it looked like you married a german girl. Must have happened after I left Amberg. (9/79) I want to return someday. I've been in touch with T. Covar, D.Richards & J. Bittay. They all are doing well.
I see you work for the Ill. State Police, I have a nephew that is a Trooper in Distict 5.
I live in Pontiac and have retired from IDOC with 27 year.
Hope all is well, stay in touch....

John.....or Mich as I used to call you. Dude, I have thought about you many times since I left Germany. Would love to see you sometime in the future. You were a very dear friend that I never forgot. Thanks for the compliment on LTC, still enjoying the work but probably am near the end of my fading comet I call an Army career. It has been a great ride. Please write back and let's see each other soon. I agree on the 1911, I have a competition grade pistol that I paid dearly for and I wish I could have that in the STAN next year with me when I head over there. All the best, Eddie.

The whiners making too much money is why I never watch baseball or basketball. They don't deserve what they get now !
As for the Texas Longhorns,. they are my 2nd college team. My X-Wife graduated from there & converted me. But my 1 st team will always be Penn ST.
