Still kickin', Jeff. Thanks.

Hell yeah we can wear Stetson's, but there are a couple guidelines.

1. Wear of the Cavalry Stetson should be confined to Cavalry/Military functions.

2. Stetsons will not be worn in bars/taverns, strip joints, or brothels, unless:

a) A Cavalry/Military function.

b) Coming from or going to a Cavalry/Military function.

Hi Jeff, those Sheridans were fun. One day road marching to the wash rack the accelerator stuck wide open. (I guess they were supposed to have governors, but everyone disabled them) So here we were speeding along - driver steering side to side to kill speed - me and the TC on the back deck trying to open the grill doors and grab the throttle. The column was stopped ahead  pulling into the rack...traffic was coming in the other lane..... TC grabbed it with about 10 feet to spare. I was surprised they had gas engines....

Hello Jeff. I did not get to the Rock till June of 75. I went in as infantry and after being there for six months I was told I was going to be a mechanic. So they changed my MOS and I was that till I left in 77. Glad I found this website, it's cool. Stay safe.
