Capt Wagner this is sp/4 Chase hope you remember me I came to the Rock in 77 and worked as tamms clerk anyway hope you are well tried to send you assuage it said you had not friends me or what ever anyway Merry Christmas
Warren, I'm anxious to hear about your hunt this year. It was real bad for us in southeast Tx. this year. The deer stayed nocturnal all hunting season, one friend killed a 10 pt. That was the only good deer I heard about. Yeah man, let me know about your new hunting in Pa. I know I have to practice more, but it's a pain with my 308 because it's a featherlite, but I do have a Marlin 30-30 lever action that is fun to shoot, but I have it sighted in with the Hornady leverevalution rounds, which are expensive.
Warren, I'm going to take my tractor to my brothers farm next Monday and start to get ready for hunting season. At this stage of the game, that will be the only place I hunt this year.
Warren. Nice photos. I remember Devore and Snooks and could tell who they were by seeing them. I also remember Wester and Rucker. I arrived on the Rock and Delta June 1978. Captain Skinner was top shelf in my opinion as was D Co and the 2nd Cav.
Starting to get ready for hunting season again, going to my brothers farm tomorrow evening to plant a food plot in the middle of a hay pasture, clean stands, and check feeders. Looking forward to it again. Just bought a lever action Marlin 30-30, put a good scope on it. First deer rifle I ever had was a 30-30 bolt action - Revalation- from Sears. I bought it in a pawn shop, killed a mountain of deer with it. RC
Warren, the longest shot I would take with the 308 is 100 yrds. Here in east Tx. it is so heavily timbered, 100 yds is about max. I really love my Win., wanted one all my life, thought it was the finest, prettiest rifle made. The barrel heats up too soon for me, because I like to shoot a lot. I am still happy with it. I like the pics of the 578 and 88 VTR's, thats what I did, tank recovery. Getting ready for a family reunion, and huntin season, thanks for the comment back. Where do you hunt?
I sure don't, but the funeral home might have contact info for the family.

I would truly hate to move again, it would be a large job now. Our season starts Nov. 2nd I will have to check the book to make sure. Good luck!!
Warren, are you going to hunt this year? I'm starting to get excited again.

Happy Birthday, Warren!
Have a groovy day old friend. Time keeps on slippin' into the future.
Devore wanted to become a chopper pilot. Do not know if he ever did. I was in CSC and then HSC 1/72nd Armor at Camp Casey.
Warren,
We had a SGT Rucker in the HQ tank section from Texas.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
