Hey, Eric. I remember you. I was in HHT from Dec '70 til Apr '72. I was in ground surveillance and on the border until May '71. SSGT Archie was our NCO. I can't remember the other guy that came in about the same time as you. I just know that after you got there, I never went back to the border and ended up driving for the CO. That seems like a long time ago, but sometimes the memories come back easily.
Dragoon Base has plenty of updated features (HTML and format friendly), lots of sub-groups like the Officers Club, F-Troop, Amberg, Medics, and the
always busy Oldtimers club to name a few.
Also links for 2nd Cavalry Assn. News and History Centers.
The late Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (i.e. photos, links, etc.) in the Forum section.
Please feel free to stop by and read the latest in “Tacoma Dave's Trivia Quiz”. You can learn some 2nd Cav history and you could even win a cool prize.
If you need any help, you may contact any of the admins listed at the top of the page, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
Please keep it reasonably clean. Use your real name on your registration. A profile picture may help your old friends find/remember you.
Please tell your old Cavalry buddies where to find Dragoon Base.
Thank you again for joining Dragoon Base, for your service and dedication to our great country, and for your continued support of the 2d Cavalry Regiment.
