Getting older and have found and rekindled several of my friendships with my brothers in arms. Just want to stay abreast and have a greater kinship with my Cavalry brothers

Spent my 21st birthday at Camp Pitman in Weiden. It really sucked, but I almost didn't make it so any birthday was better than none. This happened two days before my 21st, on July 25, 1974. It's all that is left of an M-551 Sheridan that caught fire and exploded. I was real close to it when it went off.

Welcome James I was with M co from 1978 to 1980 1st platoon. I turned 21 also in Germany. We were at Graf. for gunnery that cold day in February. Enjoy checking out the site.

Welcome to Dragoon Base, James.

Kind of short notice, but the 2d Cavalry Association is having its biennial reunion April 27-30 in Williamsburg, Virginia. Be a good chance for you to have that greater kinship with your Cavalry brothers.

Details are in the right hand column of every page.

If you need anything, feel free to give me a holler.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
