Do you still have your Dog Tags, when did you receive them, and where are they now???

Still have one my dog tags left, it is on my key chain and have never lost a set, because of the sound that they make when they hit the ground (except in the sand, which is where I lost the first one). 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment since 1972.

I still have my dog tags when I was drafted in 1968. Received them at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, April 11, 1968

Hey Roger, I got my dog tags at Ft. Campbell also, January 1972. We were the last BCT class at Campbell. Don't have 'em anymore though.

The old basic training barracks are still there and the SF uses them for storage. I think there are 7 or 8 in a row..mine was the 5th.

Did my share of laps around this field while with B-2-1. The 101st starting arriving from Vietnam in March of '72 and took the post back.

2d DRAGOONS

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
