Chief, Dave, I am working on my Memorial Day movie.  Because of Covid we still cannot do theater program so I have to make it a 1HR movie for them to put iton local TV and loop it every hr.  So this year I am honoring the Vietnam Veterans those in Vietnam and those that served during the Vietnam years.

It is very touching and I think it will be emotional for those that served there others will be touched.

To all of our 2nd ACR brothers, I wish you a safe and healthy holidays.

I hope you all watched my Veteran's day movie.  That one will make you tear up.

Happy Chanukah and Merry Christmas to you and your family Sig, healthy and safe.

Sig, I have been practicing my cw and have been operating at about 10 - 12 wpm

I do not think about the code, i read the word and my fingers do the tapping.  Occasionally my fingers do not listen to my mind.  My MOS 051.10 was an intermediate speed Radio Op at 18 wpm  This is 63 years later.  I found a website that is a practice station that I copy between 10 wpm - a very difficult 15 wpm  My writing cannot keep up with 15  somehow I fall behind after 5 or 6 words.  I enjoy it,

If we do not talk stay safe.  even if we do talk, stay safe

Monday morning about 1002 hrs and all is well, some sunshine and temps in the mid 50's, going up to the mid 60's and all's well here in So. Cal. Taking a moment to wish all my fellow Troopers a " MERRY CHRISTMAS " and " HAPPY HANUKKAH ".As 2020 winds down with hopes for a better 2021. Haven't heard anything about the New Years Day Parade of Roses yet so I guess that it's cancelled.Morning tradition to sit in front of the TV and watch the parade with a mug of hot cocoa. In spite of all our Gov"s lock downs still able to get some fishing and bird watching in. Most restaraunts closed, only take out orders, economy sucks here in So. Cal. grandson out of work in the food industry. Good time to be retired.Birthday party for my daughter tonight. Thanksgiving was a good one. Gov. Nusiance said we could only have a gathering of ten people but allowed 30 for a funeral so we had a funeral service for our bird Tom. Remember, Jesus is the reason for the season, and he paid our debt so don't go in debt for the Christmas Season, it's all about him, not the gifts !

Hey Chief, I am receiving all your emails and they are great.  I just am preoccupied with a lot of nonsense that has to be addressed.

Yes, I know, Dragoon base is more important and have priority.

Good Wednesday afternoon Brother Troopers and Old Timers!

Tis yer not so Wandering Scotsman, checking in. The wife (Cathy) and I are doing well in Thonotosassa , FL. Still in the same RV Park (for 2 years now).  I ken that I have missed some Birthdays and Thanksgiving. I do hope that everyone had a good Thanksgiving. We kept ours small, just 6 of us at the oldest daughter's home.

The Advent and Christmas Season are in full swing now. (We're finally getting some cool/cold weather here in FL)  I want to wish each and every one a Wonderful Holiday Season! Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah!

Stay Safe and Healthy . . . Best Wishes for a Better Year in 2021!

Toujours Pret!

Harry, the Hawks are supposed to have one of the easiest schedules left in the season but we have been struggling as of late. Should be an interesting game.
