This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.

Good Day,
How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on:( officialaishacbdd@gmail.com ) for the full details.
Have a nice day
Thanks God bless
Aisha.
Hey Sir! Great to hear from you—I remember you well. I remember when you took command from CPT Busch and I remember your sweet Buick Grand National! Haha. I just retired this past August. I was active duty National Guard in NY and retired as a SGM. Great times back then. Hope all is well with you.
Hey Ben - long time no see or hear from. Of course I remember you - we were at Ft. Riley at the same time before Amberg. Hope all is well with you. I'm new here at Dragoon Base and will need to learn the ropes.
Sir, Greg Householder is now a member here.

Welcome back to the Cavalry Captain Bergfelt I was a Trooper with M company 78 to 80. I live in Sacramento, and Glen is correct Pond Barracks is gone but most of the buildings are still there but it is a housing project now. I was back there in 2013 for a reunion. We have them every two years next years reunion will be in Kansas. Check in here for updates about the logistics. Dave Gettman keeps us posted with information about that and everything else that has to do with the Regiment. Toujours Pret Sir.
Welcome to the Dragoon base Cpt Bergfelt. I was a trooper in K troop 3/2 ACR in 1976 to 1978. I live in Suisun City not far from you in Napa. Just wanted to welcome a fellow Pond barracks Trooper. I have many fond memories of my time in Amberg and on the Border. From what I understand Pond barracks is no longer there. Anyway I hope you can find some old buddies on here. Toujours pret Sir.
