Tell us a little about your cav days.
Rolling out to Graf and hohenfels to support tank gunnery (Graf) and 2 month combat scenerios at Hohenfels. Was a hard job but I loved it and my fellow soldiers.
Doing PT my first duty station and I can remember running up and down and around the mountain. Took awhile to get acclomated to that environment.
Drinking my first German beer and loved it!!
The commoradery man I miss that.
Going to krouzburg and drinking at the monestary again best beer ever!
Tell us a little about you now.
Married. 6 kids diesel mechanic and all around handyman. Loving life and the freedom my fellow Vets have allowed me to enjoy.
Name a few buddies you served with that you would like to find.
Bill Williams. My memory is gone I would love to see pics maybe it would stir up something from when I was there.

That was the one and only time I've ever drank Kreuzberg. Quite the alcohol content, and excellent flavor. Love the reddish color too. Tried to find it in the states, but no deal. I can get dozens of original German biers at a deli near me, but not Kreuzberg.

Hey Bill, I had some of that monk bier when I went back to Germany in 2011. They had a small private ceremony for me at the 2d Cavalry museum and broke out a couple big bottles of Kreuzberg.

2d DRAGOONS

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
