Connecting the Troopers of Today with the Veterans of Yesterday.
Hi Jim - Unfortunately, most of us have drifted off and or have gone to Green fields. So some of us started our group and we call ourselves the Cold War Warrior's mostly dedicated to the Rock and D-Co the same period of time. You and I were there - There's 3 sites dedicated to the 2nd cavalry on Facebook. So if you care to join us check out my site and drop me an email. Not trying to take anything away from Dragoon base It's just a sign of time. By the way, do you have any photos?_ Chief

Hey Jim, I do remember you now, it took me a bit though! I was wondering if you had other pics of your time there?
I forgot all my pics when I left, had them in a photobook and one of my roommates wound up taking them with him. Anyways, I started a group in facebook of the subpost, Here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#!/groups/206543082747076/

Thanks and I hope to see you on facebook

Welcome to Dragoon Base Jim. You and I arrived in the Bayreuth area at the same time. I was in C Troop in Bindlach from January 74 until February 75. Spent most of the time in the field, but may have shared a barroom brawl or two with you.

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
