Hello Jeffrey. Always nice to hear from another Buckeye.
Still kickin', Jeff. Thanks.
Hell yeah we can wear Stetson's, but there are a couple guidelines.
1. Wear of the Cavalry Stetson should be confined to Cavalry/Military functions.
2. Stetsons will not be worn in bars/taverns, strip joints, or brothels, unless:
a) A Cavalry/Military function.
b) Coming from or going to a Cavalry/Military function.
Hi Jeff, those Sheridans were fun. One day road marching to the wash rack the accelerator stuck wide open. (I guess they were supposed to have governors, but everyone disabled them) So here we were speeding along - driver steering side to side to kill speed - me and the TC on the back deck trying to open the grill doors and grab the throttle. The column was stopped ahead pulling into the rack...traffic was coming in the other lane..... TC grabbed it with about 10 feet to spare. I was surprised they had gas engines....
Right on, Brother. Hope to see you there.
This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
