This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.

I thought about doing that but wondered where I would work and where my money and benefits would come from. How do you do it? Are you a German citizen now? How is the weather there? I'm in Norfolk and it's lovely. In the 60's the last few days. I lived in New York state for 25 years and many days it wouldn't get above zero. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Take care. Dave

Back then,my wife and I lived on Georgenstrasse for awhile then in Gailoh,on Rozenplatz 4.It was a butcher shop then and now a butcher shop and a schnell imbus.Last time back was 2002.
