This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.

Hi Mike, i was at Camp Gates from 1984 to 1986 as i look at these pictures i have so many mixed emotions.i remember all of it and how this place made me feel the first time i got there.I thought we were in some kind of prison camp.

Mike, Thanks for posting the videos of Camp Gates, you are right it is ashamed to see the place in such disrepair. It is like the place is being disrespected. But it does bring back some memories.
