Years later in 2002, I took over 1SG Roth's Brigade Recon Troop in Vilseck as the new 1SG. Roth retired in Germany, but I've lost contact with him

Chris Hahn was in 1st Platoon from 85 until I think sometime in 88. He was Ernie Roth's gunner. Guess he left the troop before you got there. Hahn came back a couple years later and deployed to Desert Storm with K-Trp.

I remember you. I was in 3rd platoon during that time. SSG Morrissey was my Section SGT. Guessing you probably remember Chris Hahn?

He went to Columbia law, and last I heard was doing merger and acquisition law in Manhattan. Think his wife was a historical art (high end) dealer or broker. Haven't talked to him in about ten years or so.

Toujours Pret Roger,
Welcome to the new DragoonBase, the new Base has plenty of newer features, lots of sub-groups,(ie,F-Trp,Amberg,Medics,etc.) and links for 2nd Cav News and History.
Robb Russell has posted some tips for navigating the site (ie,photos, links, ect) in the Forum.
Make sure you stop by and read the latest Tacoma Dave ‘Triva Quiz’, learn some 2nd Cav history and you can even win a kool prize.
If you need any help, you can contact Robb, or any of the 5 admins listed at the top of the page, or just yell out, another member may be able to help you.
And our only wish, ‘Keep it clean’, use our Real names/with Pictures(pix from back in the day, work best for searching for Brothers, but any picture will do).
And that you please tell all your friends about the new DragoonBase.

Thanks again for joining Dragoon Base, and for your service to our great country,
Jesse Kelley

This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.
