This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.

Tony,
Phillip LeBert here noticed a familiar face in one of your photos. The guy in the middle with the glasses. Do you recall if that was Santos Espinosa?
I am at City Auto Sales but I am not the guy on the commercials! Come by some time I would love to meet you. I don't remember the name you asked me about. Was he in K troop?
Let me know if you get to olando. It is about 4 hours from here and I wll go up there
It has been a long time. The last I heard he was in Alpine, when we were stationed together at Ft. Hood, he and I would drive to Alpine almost every weekend to see his family and Lisa. the last I heard was that after the gulf war, we went into teaching in Alpine. I did look up Torres in Alpine and his parents are listed there but I did not see his name. I may give them a call and see what's up.
