This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.

Howard, thank you for the invitation, I am honored to be your friend in Dragoon Base.
Tojours Pret, Brother.
You served after me, but
Once Cav,
Always Cav.
Howard,
I am looking for a cook for the 3/2, Gerald Washington, He took care of me in the Officers Club for a loooong time, unfortunately he got out when I troop was at the border, Graf. Hohenfels or somewhere, and I lost track of him. I would not be suprised if he stayed in Germany as he had a gf with a car. A fiat sedan that he, like, was crazy about.
Have ya heard anything about him?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOWARD
Wishing you many more, from all of us at DragoonBase!!!!
