Connecting the Troopers of Today with the Veterans of Yesterday.
This was the third design of the 2d Cavalry DUI, worn from 1924-1931. The sharp points on the ends of the bottom scroll again called for a redesign.

Hi Rick, I saw your pictures of Soldiers Field. I was at the same place but after you left. ('66 - '67). I have some pictures also. They're on youtube. Look for "Nurnberg and Soldiers Field Army Airfield 1966". I hope to hear back from you.

Happy birthday, Rick!
Don't know how I missed you joining the Oldtimers. Sometimes people just fall through the cracks. I moved from Sicklerville in '04 to Mays landing. I think there is someone else from Berlin here. I hope you are feeling better. I saw your post....that's how I found you.
Hey Rick. Got your message. The guys you mentioned, don't ring a bell, but I just got back from a fishing trip with Ed Howlett and Dave Wilcox. Had a great time telling war stories. Here's my e-mail address, would love to see picture of Ed. I also have several pictures from Bindlach. rolliepd@yahoo.com.

Hello Rich,
It is truly a small world. We were in Germany during the same years and I live just down the road in Mays Landing, moving here 7 years ago from Sicklerville.
Take a look at out Oldtimers group. Many vets from same era.
Glad you found us at Dragoons.
Harry
Welcome to Dragoon Base, Rick. Glad you could make it.
